THIS WTR GIVES ME LIFE

LIFEWTR is a brand of premium bottled water that “fuses creativity and design to serve as a source of inspiration, as well as hydration, to usher in a new era of thirst quenchers.” It is purified water, pH balanced with electrolytes added for taste. LIFEWTR was announced December 9, 2016, but was readily available across the United States in the beginning of February 2017. The water is quickly blowing up; I have seen them all over the school, in backpacks, on desks, being refilled. I am also participating in this take over, me carrying one myself. It isn’t hard to miss them either, with the colorful and unique labels making them quite the eye-catcher. The art on the bottles is created by upcoming artists and are replaced with three new bottles every three months. The pieces of art right now (Series 1) is a blue/teal/black polka dotted, chevron, and striped bottle created by Jason Woodside, two hands, containing many prints and colors, making the sign for ‘OK’ with eyes looking through, created by Craig & Karl, and, the last one, a bottle with blue and red striped in a very unique pattern with a gradient, wavy shape going through it created by an artist who goes by ‘MOMO’. If you are considering purchasing a LIFEWTR you can get your own at Walmart for $1.34 for a liter bottle or $1.58 for a 700mL flip-cap bottle. I think that what the company is doing is cool, and they’re doing a good job too; just look at how fast LIEWTR is growing. The company believes that inspiration is just as vital to life as water is, that’s why they turn their bottles into opportunities for artists to get out there.
