Everyday I struggle. It is a never ending hassle. Honestly, I don’t know how much longer I can handle it. What am I talking about? I am talking about waking up at six o’clock in the morning and then trying to drag myself through the day. I know this sounds like a joke, but I’m being completely serious. Waking up that early in the morning for ten months straight is not an easy thing to do. I realize it might be easier if I went to bed earlier, but then I’m just losing more of my day. I’m not really a morning person or a night person; I’m just a life person. I feel like sleeping is just wasting the day. Do you know how many other things I could be doing with the time I waste sleeping? Probably a lot. I have a love-hate relationship with sleep; it’s nice and makes me feel better, but it steals my time. No matter how much sleep I get, it is always hard to get up. Why is that? The experts say that you are supposed to get eight hours of sleep each night to be well rested, but even when I do, every morning I always feel like I need more. I guess I am a hypocrite, talking about sleep like this, because it’s what I do with most of my free time. I think I’m just angry because it was so difficult to get out of bed this morning and it is all I can think about.
