Ms. Armour is welcomed back to Heritage as a co-teacher in Environmental Science. She is a Heritage Alumni, graduating from Heritage High School in 2019. This will be Ms. Armour’s first year teaching, and it is also her first year coaching the softball team. She is a strong believer that being a teacher is very important, but also having a life outside of the classroom is too. She says, “In my free time I love to do anything outside, or just be hanging out with friends and family.” In 2022, Ms. Armour graduated from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga with her Bachelors in Childhood and Family Studies and Development Degree in Education. She is very excited and grateful to be welcomed back to Heritage as a teacher, and to make long lasting impacts on young minds. “My favorite part of teaching is getting to see kids every day and trying to make a difference in their life,” she explained. She was part of the first ever Heritage softball team, and won state. Ms. Armour says, “Then in college, I was very fortunate and blessed to get a scholarship to play softball there, and we won the conference my last year in college as well.” There is definitely no shortage of accomplishments from this teacher!
