The Homecoming representative for this year’s Junior class is Lexi Berry! She is a gifted student, talented volleyball player, and a great leader. She plays as an outside hitter for the Heritage volleyball team and also plays on a club volleyball team outside of school. One of her most recent accomplishments is hitting 500 career kills in volleyball. To add on to all of that Lexi is also a member of the HHS student government. Overall, her favorite part about getting chosen for a representative is getting to see who gets to be crowned queen.
She is very involved in her youth group at church, and “she” tries to make sure no one ever feels left out. Some extra information is her daily morning routine consists of getting up, reading her bible, and then she gets ready & goes to school. A fun fact about Lexi is, “I like pineapple on pizza, and I hope that makes people mad because it’s good.” She says. Lexi is very hardworking, as you can see with her many accomplishments but she still stays humble. Hear what one of Lexi’s teachers has to say about her. Michelle Petteys, Lexi’s Spanish teacher, said, “Lexi is one of the kindest, most genuine people I’ve ever taught. She’s an amazing leader—she’s dependable, hard working and confident. She leads by example and is incredibly supportive of others..” Lexi is a great example of what a Five Star General should look like, and is the perfect representative for her Junior class.
