Addi Dills is a 16-year-old student at Heritage High School. Dills is the one and only junior representative for the 2024 Homecoming. She since freshman year, she has always been very involved at Heritage. Dills has been involved in Beta Club starting this year and Track and Field since 7th grade. She also played basketball up into her sophomore year and was a class officer for two years. She has been voted to be the captain of the Flag Football team, which she actually started this year.
When Dills found out about her nomination for the Homecoming Court Representative of the Class of 2026, she felt really excited, and really just didn’t expect to be nominated. She believes the biggest reason she was nominated for this position was because she’s extremely involved with school, and she has close relationships with a ton of people, including teachers. She believes her good grades and positive attitude toward new things and opportunities has helped her gain the support of her classmates.
She chose Mrs. Lones as her escort. She said, “Mrs. Lones is one of the sweetest coaches I have ever had; I have grown close to her especially this year starting flag football. She’s definitely one of the best coaches I have had.”
Dills had a great time being a representative this year, and is hoping to be nominated again for the court next year. She thinks this year was really exciting and fun, and would rate this experience a 10/10.
