Lexi Berry, an 18-year-old Heritage High School senior, was voted Homecoming Queen. She is very honored to be in this position, and is so grateful to be Queen. Commenting on how it felt towin, Berry said, “I was super surprised that I’m the Homecoming Queen, and I’m supported and loved by my family and friends.” Berry was excited that she won, but she loved all the other candidates.
“I’m committed to go to Palm Atlantic College for volleyball, and to pursue a good education in academics and still be connected in the school life”. Berry is inspired by her coach, her family, and her favorite volleyball player Lexi Rodriguez. Berry was so happy to even be in the position of being a candidate let alone being the Homecoming Queen. Berry’s favorite high school moment was when she was in Mrs. Zipp’s class when they were doing a seminar, and they were dressed up as different characters. Her friend Vinney stood up to get the class’s attention, and his pants fell down.
Lexi says she likes to run, bake, read, go to church, and hang out with family and friends. We asked Lexi to describe herself in 3 words and she said “fun, friendly and compassionate.” Lexi is also a part of Beta Club, which she is a president of, FCA which she is a leader in, NHS, and Tea Club. Overall, Berry is an outstanding person and queen, who definitely deserved to be the Homecoming Queen, as well as the rest of the candidates.
