The Homecoming Pep Rally happened September 30th, 2024, and a bunch of people are wondering who our new freshman representative was.
“I wanted to be a representative because I see all these other girls doing it and they inspire me,” said Baylee Lyons, freshman Homecoming Court Representative. Being a representative on the Homecoming Court means that you show school spirit, you’re involved in school activities, and that you overall represent what the school means when they say “Go Heritage Generals!”
Lyons is an active student here at Heritage High School and a cheer team member. She describes herself as hardworking, nice, and funny, and her peers believe those adjectives are absolutely true. Along with cheerleading, she’s also an SGA member and a Partner’s Club member. Her dream job is to own her own hair salon as a business owner, as well as attend the University of Alabama.
Whenever she doesn’t have extracurricular activities to attend to, she enjoys hanging out with her friends and vacationing to places she’s never been to before. Lyons also volunteers to help children learn how to cheer properly. Overall, she’s an amazing student, and she absolutely deserves all the votes she got when being nominated as the freshman representative. No one in the freshman class could be better for this role. Keep cheering our representative on, freshmen!
