On September 28, 2024, two rivals went against each other in a season game: the University of Alabama versus the University of Georgia.
Kicking off, Alabama took the lead seven to zero then turned the ball over to Georgia. Alabama stopped Georgia from getting a touchdown, and Alabama got another touchdown from the running back Jamarion “Jam” Miller. Georgia got the ball back, and Alabama landed their first interception of the game and scored again.
It was now halftime, and it was Alabama’s ball. Jalen Milroe was on fourth, and one got an east touchdown. The score was a jarring 28 to zero.
Georgia scored their first touchdown of the game when they get the ball in the second quarter. Georgia stopped Alabama at fourth and one and Alabama got another interception after giving the ball to Georgia. Then Georgia had an interception and gave the ball to Alabama for them to kick a field goal, making it 30 to seven.
Georgia scored a touchdown and a two point conversion at the start of the third quarter. Then Alabama got another field goal making it 33-15. Turning the ball over to Georgia, Alabama’s defensive lineman made a big play getting a fumble. However, it didn’t count, so Georgia got the ball back and scored another touchdown. Alabama secured the ball, but was stopped by Georgia at fourth and eleven making it Georgia’s ball again. Georgia slowly made their way down the field and with five minutes left in the fourth quarter they scored again making it 28-33.
Georgia kicked it off for Alabama, and Alabama was stopped, having to punt the ball back. Georgia made a huge play getting a 67 yard touchdown from number 86 and Carson Beck, Georgia’s quarterback, went for the two point conversion, but didn’t get it. The score was now score 34-33.
Georgia also had to kick it back to Alabama. Alabama responded right back at Georgia with an insane 75 yard touchdown from the 17-year-old Ryan Williams, Alabama’s star wide-receiver, making the score 39-33. Alabama decided to go for the two point conversion and got it in from Alabama’s tight end. With two minutes left in the game, Georgia was slowly making their way down to the end zone, but the ball was intercepted by Alabama’s cornerback, Zabien Brown. The game ended 39-33, with all of the Alabama players celebrating their win. Both teams performed spectacularly, but the Bulldogs just wasn’t able to keep up with the Crimson Tide.
