Valentine’s Day is a great time to show appreciation for the people you love, there’s hundreds of different gifts to get, which definitely gets a little intimidating. Flowers, chocolates, and more can get overwhelming to choose between. Lucky for all Heritage students, Heritage’s FFA program is selling flowers for Valentines Day! For the past seven years, Agriculture teacher Mrs. Handy has sold roses and carnations for the week of Valentines Day! This year, flowers will be delivered all throughout the blocks on Thursday, the 13th. “We’ll be delivering during first block, second block, and third block,” Mrs. Handy explained. “There will be flowers everywhere.”

The flowers are prepared by Mrs. Handy’s students; each of the flowers comes well decorated with curled ribbons, and other greenery to enhance the blooms. “It was super and fun and exciting to see people’s reactions when they got the flowers,” senior Bailey Wiggins said about delivering the flowers on the 11th. “We will continue to deliver them until the day before Valentine’s day.”
