When Riley Greven isn’t managing football after school, she finds joy in hanging out with her friends and family, sleeping, playing softball, and listening to music.
She is a 17-year-old senior who describes herself as outgoing, observant, and funny. Her peers think highly of her too. Her close friend, Kaya Bradford, describes her as “beautiful, smart, unique, and happy.”
The thing she is most proud of about herself is her personal growth and how far she’s come.
Greven shares a home with her mom and dad, two dogs, (Bibb and Spirit), and three cats, (Cheddar, Salem, and Archimedes).
What she likes best about attending Heritage High School is the community and freedom, (especially the hour-long lunch). Her aspirations extend beyond high school though, with plans to pursue environmental engineering at University of West Georgia and obtain a real estate license. Greven is a smart individual with a clear vision for her future.
She enjoys watching comedy, like “Bojack Horseman”- A sitcom star (who happens to be a horse) trying to find meaning and happiness in a world that often feels empty and absurd. It’s a dark comedy that explores themes of depression, addiction, and fame.
“Brooklyn 99”- A comedy about a group of detectives at a police precinct in Brooklyn. It focuses on their relationships, personalities, and the funny cases they solve while still being dedicated to their jobs.
Also, “50 first dates”- A woman with short-term memory loss and a man who falls in love with her and tries to win her over each day.
Greven’s choice in comedy shows and movies matches her blend of self-awareness and quirky charm. Her choice of Andy Samberg as a dream celebrity dinner date, and Malcolm Todd as her favorite music artist, show a personality that appreciates both comedy and music.
Overall, she is a very funny and kind individual, she does her best in whatever she does and is very intelligent. Everyone needs a Riley Greven in their life.
