Miranda Wright is a sophomore at Heritage High School. Although she might seem shy, don’t let her fool you into thinking she’s not a great person to talk to and laugh with. She is a hardworking and creative student who aspires to do something in the cosmetology field. Potentially makeup for Broadway actors/actresses; allowing her creativity to really show. In her free time, she enjoys relaxing by watching Spongebob Squarepants, hanging out with her best friend, November, and discovering new music to listen to.
Music is a huge part of her life, and her all time favorite artist is Mac Demarco, especially his songs “Ode to Viceroy”, “Still Beating”, and “20191009 I Like Her”. When asked her favorite subject in school, she gave a surprising answer, “Weirdly enough, I actually mainly enjoy Spanish.” She likes the challenge of learning another language and its opportunities. Wright is someone who values her independence and finds it easiest to handle stress by going her own route and figuring out how to manage it herself.
If you were to ask her friends to describe her using three words, the most common descriptors would be: nice, funny, and smart. Wright often finds her motivation by making sure she passes all her classes. She prides herself on keeping her high grades. Another fun fact about her is that she has thought about joining the Lego club here at Heritage! She enjoys the idea of being creative and working alongside others, and it’s a good way for her to try something new. Just like cosmetology, where every detail matters, working with Legos is a great way to express herself and practice paying attention to the little things. Whether it’s cosmetology, Spanish, or even Legos, Wright is always open to exploring and adding her flair to whatever she does.
