Chloe Peponis is a 14-year-old freshman who has her dreams planned miles ahead. She has high aspirations of becoming a florist in the countryside, where she can have a relaxed and carefree life.
“I have a part-time job on Saturdays at a local flower shop,” Peponis said. “But my dream job, I believe, would be to own my own flower shop. I would like to head out to somewhere far off, miles from everywhere else, and peacefully grow flowers and write poetry.”
Peponis has the steps to success in her head already: stay in school, work hard, and never give up. She has plans to own a huge rural garden space after high school and obtain a floristry degree.
Peponis said, “I think what truly motivates me is dreams; if you never try and get something, then you’re never going to get it.”
Peponis doesn’t want her poetry to be just a hobby in life; she wants her love for literature to be involved with her life’s work. She has a desire, not to be an everyday florist, but one that brings joy in the simple things in life. She believes writing poems based on her work, and the people she does work for, will be a great way to personalize her arrangements and create a legacy.
“I want to create poems to go with different arrangements,” Peponis said. “I think that it would make my business more personal, make everyone feel a little more joy from my work.”
Kylie Royer had only wonderful things to say about her best friend’s ambitions.
“Shes really good at what she does. Her poetry and floral arrangements are amazing,” Royer said. “Chloe can do anything she puts her mind to, she is always very determined and intelligent. She’s going to follow her dreams.”
One thing is for sure, Chloe Peponis will stop at nothing to achieve her dreams. She is ready to put in the effort, and work towards her future with every step she takes. She is truly an inspiration for many.
