Heritage High School has welcomed in many new teachers this year, one of them being Coach Cade Nayadley. Even though he went to Ringgold High School, he chose to apply to Heritage because he is familiar with Ringgold, and knows that Heritage is a good academic school that is always good in sports. Nayadley stated, “I was zoned for Ringgold, so I obviously had to go there, but if I ever got the option, I was going to pick Heritage.”
He has always wanted to be a coach, and when the offensive line job opened up at Heritage, he took the opportunity. Nayadley was a very good football player who started at Jacksonville. Nayadley was previously at Jacksonville State University where he played football and studied his degree in Health and Physical Education. He will help out the football team in any way he can while doing his best teaching weight training and physical education. Naydadley explained, “I never wanted to be a teacher, but whenever I heard about this job opening up, everything seemed to be the right fit for me.”
One thing people might not know about him is that he was not only a good football player, but was good at basketball too. So he is not only going to be a football coach, but he is also going to be one of the assistant basketball coaches as well. He said, “I could hoop back in the day and love being around ball.”
In his free time, he enjoys fishing, playing golf, and working out. He plans to use what he knows to pour into kids and help the school as much as he can.
Nayadley is very excited to see how his first year of teaching goes. He is interested to see how the football season ends, and is also excited to see if any of the kids in his weight training class get stronger. Lastly, Nayadley stated, “Overall I’m just excited for this opportunity and I’m going to do what I know to help out the school.”
