Kaya Bradford, Staff Writer
Kaya Bradford is a junior student attending Heritage High School. This is her third year of Journalism, and her fifth semester. It has always been her favorite class to attend, since day one freshman year when she first entered the course. In Kaya’s spare time, she enjoys listening to (a LOT of) music, including Deftones, Modern Baseball, Nettspend, McCafferty, Radiohead, 2Hollis, Fakemink, The Hellp, Blood Orange, Playboi Carti, and many other artists from varying genres. She also enjoys reading, writing, drawing, and some other various creative outlets. While she enjoys many aspects of human expression, she refers to music as her favorite thing. Kaya also loves spending time with animals, including her cat, Clancy, who was originally a stray but is now a housecat. She also enjoys quite a few movies and shows, including “Eternal Sunshine of The Spotless Mind,” “New Girl,” “Ladybird,” “Heathers,” “Mysterious Skin,” “Bones and All,” and all of the “Harry Potter” movies, though she says “Prisoner of Azkaban” is the best one. Kaya’s favorite books include “Lord Of the Flies,” “P.S I Still Love You,” “One Of Us Is Lying,” “I’m Glad My Mom Died,” “Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire,” and “IT.” Kaya also enjoys comedians and Youtubers Kurtis Conner, Danny Gonzalez, Wendigoon, and the Sturniolo Triplets. Most of all, Kaya enjoys spending time with her friends, animals, and family.

Tatum Dupree, Staff Writer
Tatum Dupree is a 15-year-old student at Heritage High School. She does competitive cheerleading for Stingray Allstars in Marietta, Georgia. This is her first year at Heritage after transferring from Northwest. Tatum has been cheering since she was 5 years old in Allstar cheer, traveling all over the country to compete with some of the best of the best teams in cheer. She has kept all A’s in her classes since middle school and continues to do so. Some of her hobbies include reading and running in her neighborhood when she’s not at cheer practice to stay in shape and maintain her good grades. She is very determined in school and sports, and is really excited to help with Journalism this school year.
