You know that store you walk in, and you’re just like, “OMG, my mom would love this.” Uniktings in downtown Ringgold is definitely the place. With a mixture of unique gifts and monograms, Uniktings is becoming one of the most well-known shops in the downtown area. Having been in the area for over seven years, this privately owned store makes gift shopping easy and fun. Almost everything in the store is easily personalized, making it every girly girl’s dream. When walking into the store, you are sure to be greeted by owner Cindie Robinson’s schnauzer, Lily. After traveling around, you’ll find everything from baby clothes to flasks to their best-selling item, Comfort Color monogram t-shirts.
Robinson and her business partner Regina Dorsey recently moved from four doors down the street into a smaller venue. This place makes it much easier to shop and also has a more modern feel to it. Many new shops are coming and going through Ringgold, but Uniktings has stood strong. They have many loyal customers and, many new ones usually become good friends before leaving.
Though Dorsey takes care of most of the embroidery, their one and only employee takes care of the heat transfer monogramming: me. I have worked at Uniktings for over a year. It’s a great shopping experience, and Cindie will work on almost anything with you. She’s very flexible and will do anything to please a customer. New things come in every day and will continue to throughout the summer. Everyone should head down to downtown Ringgold and check out Uniktings. You ladies will love it! Plus it’s always good to shop small!
