ALL SIGNS POINT TO COLLEGE

ALL+SIGNS+POINT+TO+COLLEGE

This year has definitely been full of college signings. We have many athletes that will move into the collegiate level of sports. From our fall signings to winter signings and now into spring, our school has a lot to be proud of. Having athletes sign is a big deal, especially when you know how much better they will become as they will just continue to work hard and play hard. Last week we added two seniors to all of this signing excitement.

On Wednesday, April 15, senior girls’ basketball player Jada Hubbard signed her name on to that dotted line to continue her basketball career at Reinhardt University. At her signing last Wednesday, all of her coaches were very positive while talking about her, and I just know that there are great things to come from Jada and the Lady Eagles of Reinhardt University.

Last Friday, April 17, State Champion swimmer Jon Lancaster also signed his college scholarship to head to Carson Newman University. Lancaster became State Champion this year as he qualified for state in all of his events and then proceeded to state and won 500 free. As Lancaster furthers his career at Carson Newman, there is no doubt that as soon as he “dives” into their program that he will become a huge part of the Eagles’ swim team.

Good luck, both of you awesome athletes, as you head into the next level and continue your career in two things that you love to do. All of us here at HHS will be cheering you on.
