BLACK+OPS+3+PREVIEW

Most–if not all–of us gamers out there are getting ready for a special date: November 6, 2015. On the 6th, Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 will be released to all GameStops near you. For those of you who live under rocks, Black Ops 3 is the 20th sequel to Call of Duty. I’m anticipating the new game, and it’s eating away at me to get my hands on my controller and play. Black Ops 3 will be released on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, and Xbox 360. All CoD fans were awaiting the horrible news “Black Ops 3 will not be released on older console generations,” but we were all wrong! Surprisingly, the developers of the game, Sony and Microsoft, decided to be ever-so-nice and think about the gamers who haven’t switched to the newer consoles yet. Let’s move onto a different subject of the game: new game features. The biggest feature added to the new CoD game is SafeGuard. SafeGuard is a new game mode, which is very chaotic; it tests players’ wit, coordination, and collaboration. There are two teams: a defensive and an enemy team; the defensive team has to deliver a non-combative robot behind enemy lines. The robot needs to be beside at least one player at all times. Enemies can disable the robot, and the defense team loses. The team must overcome two rounds. Overtime comes in when both teams win at least one round. Opposing teams will then need to beat the time given and get the robot into enemy territory.
