Following the smash hit that is known as “Deadpool,” many people started thinking about whether there should be more R-rated superhero movies. While many have been asking for more R-rated superhero films, even more fans of Logan, AKA the Wolverine have been begging the movie studio Fox to release an R-rated film based on the Wolverine. For them their cries for an R-rated Wolverine film have been heard and Fox has granted them an R-rated Wolverine film.  We first heard of this at a toy fair in New York where an attendee noticed a brochure that teased the upcoming release of the next wolverine film. It currently has a working title of “Wolverine 3,” the attendee then looked under the “anticipated rating” label and it said that the anticipated rating would be an R-rating. While this isn’t much of a surprise considering how well the ultraviolent, profane, and crude “Deadpool’ movie did at the box office both domestically and globally. In fact, the Wolverine actor, Hugh Jackman, even talked about the possibility of an R-rated Wolverine film back in 2011 while doing an interview for MTV. He said that there was a tremendous amount of temptation to make an R-rated Wolverine film. He would then go on to say that “If there’s ever going to be a superhero that is going to be R-rated, it’s going to be Wolverine.” While Ryan Reynolds had beaten him to the punch on that one with “Deadpool,” many are still excited for an R-rated Wolverine film.
