SENIOR PICTURE FAQs

Q:  WHEN DO I HAVE TO HAVE MY SENIOR PICTURES TURNED IN?

A:  Yearbook Adviser and English Department Head Dr. Ingle needs the formal picture by the time we leave for winter break and the casual pose by January 31, 2017.

Q:  DO I HAVE TO USE PRESTIGE/LIFETOUCH?

A:  No.  Prestige/Lifetouch is HHS’s contracted photographer for sports and underclass pictures.  Prestige/Lifetouch is a sure-fire way to make sure formals (and/or casuals) get to Dr. Ingle, provided they are taken in time.

Q:  WHEN IS THE LATEST I CAN GET MY PICTURE TAKEN BY PRESTIGE/LIFETOUCH?

A:  Prestige/Lifetouch will come to HHS this fall—Wednesday, December 7, 2016—for prescheduled senior portrait sittings.  An appointment sign-up sheet will be in the office by the first week of November; be sure and watch/listen for announcements on the school web site <www.hhs.catoosa.k12.ga.us>, on the yearbook web site  <www.hhsgeneraljournal.com>,  and during the daily announcements.  Before then, you can talk to Prestige (423 892-1332) for an appointment.  In order to make the deadline—if you choose to use Prestige—your appointment should be made no later than the end of November.

Q:  IF I DECIDE TO USE A PHOTOGRAPHER OTHER THAN PRESTIGE/LIFETOUCH FOR MY FORMALS, WHAT DO I NEED TO KNOW?

A:  The photo must be portrait-oriented (NOT landscape).  Girls: black/navy drape; boys:  tux (worn, not draped over shoulder) and black/navy bow tie.  The background must be neutral (no scenics). You must conform to the county dress code.  No props (roses, etc.).

Q:  HOW DO I GET THE FORMAL SHOT TO DR. INGLE?

A:  You can email him a high-quality JPEG, TIF or GIF <[email protected]>, or you can bring it in on a thumb drive or CD to upload.  He can also scan a hard copy for you, provided it doesn’t have any watermark on it (e.g. “PROOF”).

Q:  WHAT ABOUT THE CASUAL PICTURE?

A:  It does not have to be a studio/professional shot, but it does have to be clear and high-quality.  Attire must follow the county dress code.

Q:  WHAT IF I HAVE ADDITIONAL QUESTIONS?

A:  Email Dr. Ingle at <[email protected]>.  This is a much better method than a phone call.  Dr. Ingle checks his email several times per day and can answer quicker than by phone.
