October 21, 2016, Season Eight of “The Vampire Diaries” came out, and let me just say it’s a good one. In Season Seven, Damon Salvatore and Enzo were taken over by this demon that was trapped in a vault. When they enter the vault to see what is inside, Damon thinks he hears Elena Gilbert’s voice (Damon’s former girlfriend that was put under a spell). In the last few minutes of the last episode, it shows Damon and Enzo walking around the vault, then all of a sudden they are taken over by the dark and mysterious figure. In the first episode of Season Eight, it starts off as Stefan Salvatore, Bonnie Bennett, Caroline Forbes, and Alaric Saltzman are trying to find their brother and beloved friends. Damon has flipped this “switch” that they claim vampires have, but Enzo does not flip the “switch” the further in the episode you get. Enzo leaves all these clues for the four friends to be able to track. He also left certain clues for his lover Bonnie, so that she knows for sure that it is him and they are on the right track. Eventually Stefan and Bonnie end up finding the location they are at. Oh, did I mention Damon and Enzo were killing people to give this thing more power?  Damon and Enzo refuse to go back because they are enjoying their new life. In the second episode, the drama just keeps getting juicier. I do not want to give any spoilers away. Every Friday night at 8:00 p.m. on the CW the episodes come on. Don’t miss out!
