THE LAND WHERE DREAMS COME TRUE

For those of you who share the same love of animals as I do (which is very strong, just for clarification), I would highly recommend stopping by the magical place in Dalton, Georgia, that goes by the name of Petland. I had the chance to visit this past weekend, and it was one of the most fun–and not to mention free–things that I’ve ever experienced. If you’ve never been, I would try to make arrangements to go as soon as you can. Honestly, even if you’ve already been 100 times, I would still recommend going again.

If you aren’t positive about the gist of Petland, it is really simple: It is a place in which you can play with and learn more about pets, and it also gives people who are considering getting a new pet the opportunity to look more closely into the adoption process with the help of Petland’s standards and their knowledgeable staff. Unlike the typical pet store, Petland’s focus is directed more towards finding animals, dogs in particular, the loving and safe homes that each of them deserve. Essentially, Petland’s goal is to provide individuals and their families a “fun and hands-on approach to learning about pets and their required needs.”

As far as my personal experience goes, this motto was reflected very well. I was able to go in, take a look around at each of the dogs, and get my own mini room within a few minutes of my request. The staff allowed me to choose two puppies to play and spend time with, and I could also take as long as I wanted in doing so. Each of the employees was not only knowledgeable as mentioned before, but they were also willing to help me with whatever I needed. With all of this being said, I hope that you would consider taking some time to make the short drive out to Petland to devote some time to learn about and play with puppies, as this truly is the land where dreams come true.
