THE END IS NEAR

Katie Lee, Staff Writer

We are slowly inching towards the end of the year, and we all know what that means: end of the year tests. With only about a month left of this school year, it’s about time for all the end of course tests (EOCs) and AP exams and finals. It all starts next week on Monday, May 1, with three AP exams: Chemistry, Environmental Science, and Psychology. The 9th grade Literature and American literature EOCs are on that day as well. On Tuesday, the Literature and American literature EOCs are continued and Physics, Computer Science, and Spanish Language and Culture AP exams will be that day as well. On Wednesday, it’s the Algebra EOC and AP English Literature and Composition exam. On Thursday, it’s the EOC for geometry and AP U.S. Government and Politics test. Then to finish the week out on Friday, the AP Art portfolio will be due, and the U.S History AP exam will be held as well. Friday will also be an EOC make up day. Don’t worry; it’s not over yet!  The next week on Monday, May 8, will be the AP Music Theory and Biology exams and the Economics EOC. Tuesday will be the Biology and Physical Science EOCs and the AP Calculus AB exam. The rest of the week will be EOC make up days with the AP English Language and Composition exam on Wednesday, AP World History and AP Statistics on Thursday, and finally the AP Microeconomics test on Friday. After that, all that will be left is finals. Senior finals will be on Tuesday, May 23, and Wednesday, May 24. Everyone else’s finals will be on the last two days of school: Thursday, May 25, and Friday, May 26, and that’s it! So, make sure you get enough rest and eat a good breakfast each morning of these next three weeks so you do well on these tests!
