ICE CREAM? WHY NOT?

I believe that ice cream is by far the best remedy to get over a broken heart. Sounds pretty cliché, I know, but it truly is the best thing to eat after someone’s heart has been broken. Whether it’s over a breakup, sad movie scene, the death of favorite TV character, or even a song that truly hits to heart. Ice cream is both cold and sweet, which numbs the heart and tastes good at the same time. Once the flavor of strawberry ice cream (or any other kind that somebody prefers) hits the tongue, it is ever so sweet. Also, with it being nice and cold, it makes your mouth go a little numb, and when you swallow that luscious delight, it also numbs your chest as it goes down. I’m speaking from personal experience after I watched “Me Before You,” which is a romantic drama, where one of the main characters passes away (won’t say who it is for people who haven’t seen it yet). Those scenes of death had me crying so hard that I was snotting everywhere and praying to God that I would never have to experience that. My mom saw me all snotty-nosed, so she bought me my favorite strawberry ice cream. It was gone in thirty minutes . . . Okay, maybe twenty, but the point is made. So, if you are ever nursing a broken heart, I would most definitely recommend eating some of your favorite ice cream.
