One key thing for me in my young life is my family, and it will continue to stay that way. In my family, I’m known as the girl who settle disputes among family members (of a sort) and gets someone to cheer up, and yet I’m known to be quite protective. As I’ve grown up, I’ve realized that there is a significant importance in protecting family, because they are the ones who should mean most. At least, that is what I believe. I find my family to be a major part of my everyday life and to make sure that all of them are okay—especially when they have been treated poorly or cruelly by someone who had no right to judge them or treat them in such manner. No one is allowed to pass judgement against my family without good reason, just like everyone else. Like my mother always used to tell me, “treat others the way you wish to be treated.” That’s exactly how I view my family. When someone mistreats a family member, I’m there to help consult them but also to find out what on earth happened to make them cry. When I see someone I love cry, I can’t handle it, and I take action. I don’t know if I’m the only person who acts this way, but I feel as though that is how it should be handled. My family is my life, and that’s what makes me so protective of them. No one hurts my mom, dad, step-mom, step-dad, aunts, uncles, cousins, and, especially, my siblings.
