Soccer at Sonoraville was anything but a snore. Both the boys and girls boasted some phenomenal skill on the field, so the game was extremely fast and had the audience on their feet. The Lady Generals kicked off the show by playing an amazing first half, scoring three consecutive goals and topped it off with a fourth towards the end! They even added another goal in the second half, so it’s amazing that Sonoraville was able to keep up with them. The Lady Generals were playing off of each other’s refined skills, creating an air of excellence as everything flowed as smooth as water. The game ended with the insane score of 5-5. After the ladies finished, the boys took the field. The Heritage boys knew they had some stiff competition, so that pushed them to play an amazing game. The runs, passes, everything was on point and it looked like they were a machine, all working to win. When the generals were down, they didn’t give up and held the game at 1-2. Even though they lost, they proved that future competitors are going to have to bust it to beat them. Both teams played sharp games and did not disappoint the Heritage name by any means.
