Just about everyone has that one friend in their life that most would call their best friend, maybe even brother/sister. Others may be lucky enough to have an entire group of friends that couldn’t do anything without each other. I’m one of the lucky ones. Yes there are friend groups that call each other friends but they never really do much more than just talk or “hang out” in the cafeteria. My friend group treats each other like family; not just because we hang out, talk, laugh, or go places with each other but  because we wouldn’t see each other as anything less. Chaz Santonastaso, Rick Blaylock, Roland Pullen, and I are the definitions of an old married couple or older siblings fighting with younger siblings. It all started with me and Chaz in 4th grade. He was that awkward kid that sat in the corner and kept to himself…until crazy, loud, obnoxious me came along and popped that bubble. We were the best of friends and no one could ever separate us. We stayed that way until about 8th grade where Rick joined and made us a trio. Throughout the next 3 years, we were inseparable and were always with each other rather it be at each others’ houses or at the school. The, the last piece to our weird and crazy puzzle, Roland started hanging out with us and has of yet to step foot out of our circle. Yes we have been the best of friends for a long time but just like an old married couple, we’ll snap and scream at each other over the littlest of things and just like how older siblings act with younger siblings, we’ll fight and push each other around but we always have each other’s back. We may scream at each other, want to choke slam each other, but in the end we know that we wouldn’t be ourselves without any of the others.
