Dang My Linh is a Vietnamese concept artist based in New York. She is an ingenious rookie who has managed to find a new way to use animation in portrait art. She started her career just in 2010 and is starting to become a more acclaimed name in the digital art community. Dang My Linh drastically improved her art in 2013 and has only been growing. Her most recently created fantasy portrait series has become her most recognizable work thus far. She even videos her process, uploads regularly on ArtStation, and has held multiple live drawings on Twitch. This has gained her a loyal fanbase and a level of recognition that was unexpected by many. The series consists of four females drawn with a distinct color and alien-like attribute. While the concept is common, the feathery, precise style used invites you to entrap yourself in every stroke within the work. The overall works have a airy feel to them that is derived from the simple backgrounds and white lighting.
