Cookie Day is my favorite day of the week, and it comes twice a week, which makes it even better. It’s every Monday between first and second block and every Thursday between third and fourth block. I remember when it used to be every day at the beginning of lunch. When they first changed it, I wasn’t too happy about it, but now I’m used to it. I prefer Thursday Cookie Day because after lunch I typically want more food because I don’t ever bring enough. I always come from Trobaugh’s AP Microeconomics dead from taking notes and it’s the perfect pick-me-up I need before band. He lets me and another girl go a couple minutes early to ensure that we’ll get some cookies mainly because he gets her to bring him back a cookie too since she has his fourth block as well.

I used to set those countdown apps on my phone last year to get hyped. I was probably more into those cookies than anyone in the whole school. You’d think I never get sweets, but that’s really all I eat. I make brownies at least once a week, and candy is my main source of intake, but still I love them.

No matter how bad my day is going on a Thursday, Cookie Day is something that always fixes it. Mainly, I’m on my way to band and generally had procrastinated on passing off my scales throughout the week, making me have to do it that day, so getting a cookie is a good way to give me the energy to do it. Cookie Day never fails to make my day.
