Catch a Fright at CTAE Spooky Movie Night

Cade Stone, Staff Writer

CTAE (Career, Technical, and Agricultural Education) hosted their annual Spooky Movie Night at the school last week. This year they played the Disney Channel classic “Halloween Town” (1998). The CTAE leaders and staff served snacks and goodies as Heritage students flocked in to see this iconic movie. According to Mrs. Fennell, “Spooky Movie Night was a huge success this year.” “Halloweentown,” Mrs. Fennell said, “was a hit with the students.” After having to move the event indoors due to rain, the CTAE teachers and students decorated the film room with Halloween-themed items while Mr. Dodson provided grilled hot dogs to go along with the snacks that were served. Mr. Dodson noted that “grilling hot dogs went really well.” He also let us in on his secret recipe, the key to the perfect hot dog, which is “just some really hot charcoal. Mr. Dodson also loved the turnout. “We had a lot of fun,” he said. “A lot of people showed up this year.” Sophomore Grayson Barnett went to the movie night and said, “I liked hanging out with my friends there.” Grayson has never seen “Halloween Town” before, but, he said, “I really liked it.” We can confidently say that this movie night was a success, with candy, food, friends, a movie and amazing CTAE club.
