Ava Phillips is a 16-year-old junior at Heritage High School. This is Ava’s first year in Journalism, and she’s excited to be here. She works at Marshall’s and is a member of SGA’s executive council, FBLA, and stage crew for theater productions. In her free time, Ava likes to talk to her friends, go shopping for clothes and shoes, listen to music, and take her daily naps. There is nothing in this world that she loves more than Kanye West. Speaking of Ye, some of her other favorite music artists include Odetari, Jeff Buckley, Yeat, Deftones, Chappell Roan, and Pierce the Veil. Ava’s favorite song right now is “HOODLUMZ” by PlayThatBoiZay and A$AP Rocky. One thing Ava takes pride in is her closet; you will never catch her in a bad outfit, that’s for sure. When she graduates, Ava plans to go to college even though she has no clue what she wants to pursue in the future, but for now, that’s good enough for her. In the meantime, she will continue to keep her grades as high as possible!
