Jasper Estus is a 15-year-old sophomore here at Heritage High School. This is his first semester in Journalism. He joined Journalism as a way to connect with his friends, create new ones, and have a community within the school. Journalism has always been a class he’s been interested in due to his friends being in the class and always raving about it. In his free time, Jasper’s either reading, listening to music, watching movies, talking to friends, or playing games. His favorite music artists currently are Radiohead, Jeff Buckley, and Alex G. Some of his favorite movies and books include “Beautiful Boy,” “The Perks of Being a Wallflower,” “Dead Poets Society,” “The Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind,” and more. Jasper’s favorite show of all time is “Friends,” but he currently loves “The Walking Dead” and “Criminal Minds.” He loves animals and has two dogs named Delilah and Honey as well as a cat named Buttons. After high school, he plans to attend a four-year college pursuing something in the field of psychology.
