Joshua Nestor is a 17 year-old senior classman of Heritage High School and a new addition to the Journalism staff. Joshua is new to this kind of class, but he is invested in trying something new and exciting. Having previously lived outside of New Orleans in Covington, Louisiana, his family currently happily resides in Rock Springs, Georgia. Joshua lives in a house of four with his mom, dad, and brother Luke; as well as his two dogs, two cats, and tortoise Jorge. Joshua has a strong passion towards music and literature, playing guitar and writing being his two most passionate hobbies. Listening to music inspires him the most in writing, playing guitar, and life as a whole. Joshua’s goal for the year is to simply qualify for a scholarship, and lay out his path to receiving his master’s in college studying psychology. At the end of the day, Joshua’s only real goal is to have quality time with all the students of Heritage, and spend time with them while he still can. Joshua only wishes to help out where he can. For the entirety of his senior year, Joshua believes that he couldn’t have asked for a more fitting class.
