In her first class of Journalism and her last semester of high school, Katie Davis is 18 years old and enjoying life as it comes. She is a part of the Legion of Generals Color Guard, being one of three veterans on weapon line this year. Performing with the band is where Katie feels the happiest, and she is somber about leaving this year. Katie spends most of her time on her phone, with her best friend, or in her car listening to whatever sounds good. She has a younger brother, Shane Davis, who is a sophomore at Heritage. Shane was also in Journalism and inspired Katie to take the class. Together, this dynamic duo conquers copious amounts of Minecraft worlds and spends most of their time laughing at each other or fighting. As a senior, Katie is ready to take on the real world and its challenges. She wants to pursue a career in neonatal nursing, working with premature and sick newborns.
