Hope Clayton is a sophomore at Heritage High School, and this is her second semester in journalism. She is also a member of the Legion of Generals color guard. Hope was born in Chattanooga, Tennessee, and has lived in the northwestern area of Georgia her whole life. However, her family is originally from Knoxville, Tennessee, so she spends a lot of time there as well. In her free time, Hope enjoys jamming to various Broadway musical soundtracks–especially Hamilton–watching a variety of shows on Netflix, spending time with her friends, and volunteering with the children ministry at church. She is also an aspiring makeup artist, and probably spends more money than she should on various makeup and makeup related products. Hope is very excited for journalism this semester, and she cannot wait to see what the future holds!
