Caroline Hamilton is a senior at Heritage High School and was one of the girls selected as a Homecoming queen candidate this year! Caroline was thrilled to be selected for the Homecoming court. The most exciting aspect of Homecoming for Caroline is getting to be a part of the ceremony. When Caroline is a part of the ceremony, she gets to have the sponsor she chose with her on the field. She chose Ms. Hamilton, her amazing mother and choir teacher, to be her sponsor.

Caroline has many interesting aspects in her life other than being a Homecoming representative. She is very involved at Heritage High School: being a part of BETA, NHS, Partner’s Club, Karaoke Club, and more. Her favorite club is Karaoke club because “it’s fun to go sing in there and hang out with my friends.” Caroline has always enjoyed Science at school this is because she says “I’ve always been good at it and it is super fun.”

Outside of school, Caroline enjoys playing pickleball and tennis with her friends as well as going to the gym. Caroline has many interests and passions that make her well-rounded and deserving to be on the Homecoming Court. Mrs. Hamilton explains that Caroline “sets the bar high” and “works really hard” to accomplish her goals. Overall Caroline “is kind to people and just a fun person who gets along with everyone.”

Hailey Drafahl, Staff Writer
Hailey Drafahl is a 17-year-old senior attending Heritage High School. She is returning to the Journalism staff this year because she really enjoyed taking the class her Junior year. Hailey is excited for what this year of Journalism will bring. She enjoys taking challenging courses and is on a dual-enrollment schedule for her entire senior year so that she can obtain both high school and college credits for her classes. Hailey is the best parker at Heritage High School: she's been told by the principal three times to fix her parking; the people around her fear for their cars. Science is her favorite subject to take, as it is easy and interesting for her. She hopes to one day be a therapist for people and help with others' mental health. In her free time, she accomplishes deranged journeys with her friends. She also enjoys working her shifts at Subway: she is a wonderful sandwich artist and loves the people she works with. She lives with her mom, stepfather, older brother, and two younger sisters. She also has five animals in her house, including three dogs and two cats. She loves listening to music: her favorite artists are SZA, Doja Cat, Lana Del Rey, Megan Thee Stallion, and many more. Hailey is very excited to graduate this year and begin the steps towards her future.
