Tristan Cosper, known by most of his peers simply as TK, is a high school senior with a sharp eye and a distinct desire for the future. Although he only picked up a camera last year, his passion for photography has quickly developed into a professional ambition. While many students are just figuring out their next steps, Cosper is already aiming for the big leagues, literally.
High school can be a grind, but Cosper has found a way to maintain his focus through the noise. There is one thing that gets him through the school day—music.
That rhythmic, soulful soundtrack provides the perfect backdrop as he balances his academic responsibilities with his growing portfolio of work.

Cosper’s educational goals are a direct reflection of his career aspirations. He plans to pursue a college degree within a school of communications, a move that will provide him with the technical and networking skills needed to thrive in a competitive industry.
His long-term “dream job” is to work as a professional photographer for the NBA. He hasn’t waited for graduation to start his photography. Cosper has already been seen on the sidelines of various local matchups, capturing high-intensity moments in basketball, football, and baseball.
For Cosper, it isn’t just about taking a “cool” photo; it’s about strategic growth. He understands that the path to the professional sports world requires more than just talent—it requires visibility.
“One thing I love about TK is that he always knows what to say, when I’m sad about something he puts me in a good mood. We also have a lot of stuff in common,” said Georgia Beasley, a ninth grader and a close friend of TK. “He really enjoys taking pictures for the basketball team, and people’s cars and trucks.”
“I think getting exposure to the photography industry could help me get to my goal,” Cosper explained when discussing his roadmap to success. He remains dedicated to getting his work in front of as many people as possible, believing that every shared image is another step closer to the professional sidelines. With his drive and a camera in hand, Tristan Cosper is a name look out for in the coming years.
