Dance. It is such a simple word with many different meanings. It could mean pumping a fist in the air, grabbing a partner and slow dancing, or jumping around in your room to the beat of your favorite song. How about the word school or the words school dance? Most people think of Prom or Homecoming. Valentine’s Day is coming up; wouldn’t it be nice to take the night off and go out with that special someone or your best friend. Well, Heritage has you covered.

Heritage is hosting its first annual Snow Ball. It’s coming up and is scheduled to be held on Saturday, February 10th from 7 to 11pm in the school’s cafeteria. Tickets will be sold for 10 dollars by the Class of 2020’s representative Mrs. Wilson on Tuesday, January 16th through the 26th. There is a catch, however: to continue the idea of holding the dance, there must be enough tickets sold to book the entertainment and catering. A professional DJ will be there to provide everyone with incredible music, and there will be food, photos, and more. The Snow Ball will be a semi-formal dance, meaning students should dress elegantly, so no blue jeans and t-shirts: only dresses and suits. Students will be allowed to bring dates from other schools but only with the approval of the school’s administration. So grab a date or gather a group of friends, come to the dance, enjoy yourself, and dance to your heart’s content.
