For millions of years, people have come together to fight for all of the glory and to gain attention or to watch those who triumph. Although we are not allowed to continue the gladiator matches that happened so long ago, the jousting tournaments, or the hunger games, we do have dodgeball tournaments. This controversial sport, dodgeball, can be described as nostalgic but painful. This is due to how many times you could have played this on the playground during elementary school or outside in your yard with your friends. However, this could bring back painful memories because of how many injuries could have occured with the level of force people would throw the ball, really wanting to win the match or just because they are mean and want to let their anger out on you. Either way, dodgeball is a fun sport to participate in or watch.

Heritage is hosting the Student and Faculty Dodgeball Tournament tomorrow, March 7, at 2:00. Students will be able to sign up to participate in the tournament during lunch for only $2. Since the event is tomorrow, students will be encourage to sign up ASAP, especially since there are not a lot of spots left for students to join in. Students are allowed to watch the dodgeball tournament, however the cost will go up to $3.

What is the money going towards? The money will be donated to Impact2One so they can continue the production of Katie Beth Carter High School. You can also buy a t-shirt if you want to help out even more.
