WHAT’S YOUR GOAL?
March 7, 2018
Goals. It is such a simple word that has a big meaning because it is a word that we all have in common, whether if it is something small like painting a portrait or something big like building an alpaca farm. Many people say they do not have goals or they can’t think of anything because they are wanting to say something either extraordinary or something that would make someone jealous. However, goals can be getting out of a class for the day because you do not really like it or getting through the day without a headache. Someone’s goal can even be to smile. You don’t have to do something that you may have to devote your time to. You can do something small like finishing homework. Goals are also ways to stay motivated and to keep us functioning. For example, my goal today was to get this article done. Someone else may have a goal to get an essay done for their language class.
I feel like everyone should make a goal each day. Whether it is big or small, it will keep you awake and functioning. This can also keep you life balanced, meaning if you come up with a goal, you will be able to manage your time to do the other things you need to get done. A goal can help you express yourself more and will also relieve stress or anxiety because you may not be able to get something done, or having time to do it. So, while you go through your day, ask yourself: do you have a goal?
