The Indian ocean is the third largest ocean out of the five major oceans. It is surrounded by Asia on the north and Africa on the west, and on the east is Australia. The most popular animals in the Indian ocean are blue whales, dolphins, great white sharks, green sea turtles, and humpback whales.

The Pacific ocean is the largest and deepest of all the major five oceans. The Pacific ocean is the most popular of all oceans too, it is visited the most and has the most variety of animals. The Pacific ocean covers more than thirty percent of the Earth’s surface. The most popular animals in the Pacific are octopuses, humpback whales, starfish, sea otters, krill, leatherback turtles, salmon, atlantic bluefin tuna, and pacific white-tailed dolphins.

The southern ocean is the fifth and newest of the five oceans. It covers the majority of the oceans around the globe because it’s considered to be all of the southern oceans put together. The Southern ocean’s most popular animals are Antarctic Krills and Albatross.

The Atlantic ocean is the second largest ocean including all of the five major oceans. The Titanic sank in the Atlantic ocean in 1914 due to an iceberg because they were traveling during the winter. To this day, people are still exploring the Atlantic and where the Titanic sank in it. The most popular animals in the Atlantic are the marine mammals, atlantic bluefin, horseshoe crab, and walrus.
