Last Friday, April 12, 2019, kicked off one of the world’s most popular music festivals in Indio, California. Full of non-stop sunshine, bohemian chic summer fashions, and an electric lineup of music, you get the full experience of the Golden State’s endless summer while attending Coachella. The popular music festival has recently been extended to two successful three-day weekends, meaning it will go on until Sun, April 21, 2019. As far as this year’s lineup goes, there are so many popular artists performing at the festival, including Ariana Grande and Billie Eilish. It wasn’t only Grande’s wardrobe that captivated fans attention, but also her excellent set, particularly for “Dangerous Woman.” I watched the live stream and was very impressed with her performances of “Thank You, Next” and “Bad Idea,” especially when she brought out her guest stars as NSYNC and Nicki Minaj. Other popular artists performing include H.E.R., Khalid, Tame Impala, Wiz Khalifa, Ella Mai, and Bazzi. However, you would think you would only be getting hot from the California sun. Unfortunately, this was not the case this past weekend when a fire broke out and turned Coachella into a “fire fest.” Luckily, no festival attendees or first responders were injured and the fire department contained the fire quickly at around 2 a.m. One particular band that I’m excited to see perform is “Boy Pablo.” They will hit the Coachella stage on Sunday, April 21 (this upcoming Saturday). With so many great artists performing, it’s hard not to want to go to, or at least live stream this amazing music festival.
