Lilly Black was born on August 21, 2000, in Zanesville, Ohio.  She lives in a family of five with her mom, dad, and younger brother.  Her sister is currently in college.  Lilly has a black cat named Midnight and an orange cat named Rusty.  In her free time she enjoys playing sports like cross country, track, and swimming.  Reading, writing, and watching Netflix are some of Lilly’s favorite pastimes.  She is absolutely obsessed with One Direction, and her favorite television show is Criminal Minds.  When she grows up, Lilly wants to be a criminal defense lawyer.  The reason why she is in Journalism is that she loves to express herself through writing better than through talking.
