On November 17, 2025, Partners Club held the Special Olympics Bowling Event. During the event many schools county-wide participated in the event. There were a lot of people and sponsors throughout the event making sure things ran smoothly. Some comments from teachers and students who were helping with the event were very positive.
Mrs. Erin Schwibbe and Ms. Angie Trentham were important sponsors for the whole event and made sure everyone was doing what they were supposed to, while also having a good time. Trentham stated, “Oh, the energy was super high. The partners were encouraging the athletes, and everybody was having a great time.”
The event consisted of two bowling games with the participants in different lanes. The energy was over the top with cheers and screams all around. The time for the event spanned for around two hours. This event was a fantastic opportunity to be competitive, hang with friends, and overall just have a really good time. The participants and partners had an absolute blast hanging out with each other and being inspiring and encouraging with one another.
Some feedback from students who participated in the event were very confident and constructive. A Partners Club member,
Miranda Wright stated, “Partners Club is basically a group where we can make friends and do fun things.” Another Partners Club member named November Lansden stated, “ I was facilitating the event and helping kids bowl on my lane.” Lots of people were hanging out getting to know each other and just really connecting with just a spiritual and rousing attitude.
Lots of participants and sponsors gave a remarkable outcome to the event and just gave it their best efforts throughout the day. The partners that helped the participants were really grateful for having the experience and were very helpful with getting the whole event put together. The event had 25 participants in total that came from Heritage High School who competed. What’s special about the event is that the schools got to come together and be unified under a great and competitive activity. Schwibbe stated, “ Another group got to be recognized , and a different group of kids got to have their day.” Doing activities like this really brings our schools together and to be there for one another in friendship and in rivalry spirit.
