Nolan Skiles, Sports Writer
Nolan Skiles is a junior at Heritage High School and a rookie to the journalism staff. He is incredibly boring, to which this short bio will attest. His favorite activities and pastimes include playing the baritone sax, as well as many other instruments; browsing iTunes for new music; looking at dank memes; thinking about dank memes; posting dank memes; watching professional ice hockey; and consuming copious, perhaps dangerous amounts of fried rice and Pad Thai. He hopes to attend Jacksonville State University to pursue a degree in education in hopes of becoming a high school teacher like his idols Mr. Buckler, Mr. and Mrs. Tollett, and Mrs. Atwell. He is one of the new “General Journal” sports writers and will be bringing the latest headlines in school sports, attempting to get more people interested in professional hockey and all the excitement and passion that comes with it.
