Addie Kate Stafford is a 17-year-old senior at Heritage High School. She is returning for a fourth year, and fourth semester in Journalism. Outside of school, she spends her time working as a barista, as she has for a year and a half now. On other days, she spends her evenings at Heritage working on the football field as a manager for her fourth year in a row. At Heritage, she participates in various clubs such as Beta Club, HOSA, Partner’s Club, Tea Club, and the National Honor Society (NHS). Despite her busy schedule, she is determined to challenge herself with a mixed selection of Honor, AP, and Dual enrollment classes. She strives to earn straight A’s every year to become closer to her dream career in child psychiatry. Besides her academic history, she loves to read many books, listen to music, and travel. Her favorite author is Taylor Jenkins Reid, and some of her favorite artists include Fleetwood Mac, Harry Styles, and Lana Del Rey.  Her most valuable experiences travelling have been in places such as Costa Rica, New York City, and Puerto Rico. While taking on her senior year, she is grateful for all the opportunities she’s been given, and is excited to participate in her last semester in Journalism.
