Emily Wiley, a freshman, is experiencing her first time in journalism this first semester of high school.  She enjoys writing, which is what sparked her interest in joining the Journalism class in the first place.  Emily also enjoys playing basketball, and she plans on trying out for the team this year.  Playing since sixth grade, basketball is what she does most of the time when she isn’t at school.  Along with playing basketball, one of her hobbies is reading.  When she has time that she is neither playing basketball onor doing homework, this is what Emily fills with the time left.
