Saulye Nichols is a freshman at Heritage High School. She was born in Kazakhstan and adopted at nine months. She started swim lessons at two years of age and joined her first competitive team at age five. She now swims for Carpet Capital Aquatics Club in Dalton year round, Heritage during the school year, and the Ringgold Tigersharks during the summer. She lives with her parents and a Yorkie named Lexi. She lived in Tennessee until second grade when she moved to Ringgold. Saulye loves to read, write, watch movies, and listen to music. Her favorite kinds of books and movies are fantasy, science fiction, and adventure. Her favorite musicians are Lana Del Rey, Taylor Swift, and One Direction. Saulye wants to be an international human rights lawyer when she’s older so she can travel the world and help make it a better place.
