Georgia King, Staff Writer
Georgia King is a 14-year-old freshman at Heritage High School. She was very nervous for her first year back but quickly adjusted, thanks to her friends. Within the first week of school, Georgia had already gotten involved with FFA, and immediately after that she started working with HOSA. She competed in two FFA competitions, those being Flora Culture and Veterinary Science. HOSA also gave Georgia many opportunities to be active, and every second is something new and exciting. Georgia is also very interested in reading: you give her a book, and she will read it all day. Georgia also enjoys taking care of her animals, and she feels this makes her want to walk down the path of a veterinarian. Georgia also looks forward to writing and working with the other staff members on their assigned material. Georgia is also very excited to work through the rest of her freshman year and finish it off right.
