John Hurst, Staff Writer
John Hurst is a 16-year-old senior at Heritage High School. This is John’s second year in Journalism. John has been a member of the football team all four years of high school, solely playing on the line on both sides of the ball. In his free time, John likes to fish, play Xbox, hang out with friends, go to the gym and play golf. John has been fishing ever since he was about three with his dad and great uncle. John is a huge Georgia football fan, a.k.a the National Champions. He also works with his friends at Lakeshore Marina on the weekends and on breaks from school. John also loves to listen to music. He listens to rap and country mostly. After he graduates, John plans on going to a trade school, but he is unsure what trade he wants to do. John’s favorite subject in school is any History class. John finds history to be very interesting, and he thinks it’s one of the only classes truly needed in life. John lives with his mom, sister, brother and dog. HIs dog is a two year old lab named “Cotton.” John doesn’t like her name though and calls her dog most of the time.
