Abigail Maynor, Staff Writer
Abigail Maynor is a 14-year-old freshman at Heritage High School. She is very excited about starting her first year of high school. In her free time, Abigail loves to hang out with family and friends. She has a dog named Brutes. He is a Boxer-Collie mix and the sweetest dog in the world. Also, Abigail is currently a level one red belt. In January, she will be able to receive her official black belt. Abigail’s mom is the same level as her, her dad is a level one third-degree black belt, and her sister is an level two first-degree black belt. Along with that, she and the family are also instructors and on the leadership team. Abigail loves being able to work and teach the kids at Ed Rose Martial Arts Academy. When she achieves her black belt and turns 16, she will finally be able to certify. Abigail was also accepted into the National Junior Honor Society in 8th grade. Abigail enjoys listening to country music and having fun. She has always wanted to go to the Bahamas. Her favorite TV shows are "Cobra Kai," "Stranger Things," and "Criminal Minds." She is very excited to start her first year of high school and the first year in Journalism.
